Latest news from Elise:
3rd October 2016 - Debut Album Update!
Wow! How the time absolutely flies when you're making an album!
Over the summer we have been recording my guitars and vocals and we've just had a really exciting week in the studio overdubbing percussion, banjo and wind instruments and this week we have the string players coming in too. All very exciting! Its been such an enormous process and the most wonderful aspect of this particular stage for me, is that I can feel my anxiety around whether the album was going to live up to my high expectations becoming calmer and calmer with every step we take. Its going to be beautiful and I can't wait for you all to hear it! I'm still unclear as to the actual release date as it still feels impossible to predict how long its going to take to finish every aspect of the project; not only the recording, but the design and preparation that is required for the launch. But I will keep you posted! My fingers are crossed for spring 2017...
I also just want to thank everyone who has continued to pre order the album despite the official Indiegogo campaign being closed, every pre order is bringing me closer and closer to raising the extra couple of thousand pounds that I didn't quite reach of my funding goal. You can still preorder by emailing email@example.com.

Reviews from the February 2016 UK Tour supporting Howard Jones:
Thanks to LIVERPOOL - Epstein Theatre: "Elise Yuill who, with a vocal style that is so richly engaging it summons up images of long lost summers, crisp winters and the deep, warming glow of the fireplace within moments. Take a listen to Castle of Sand, Five Regrets or Sunrise and you are guaranteed to be emotionally moved by the rich tapestry of her abounding talent..." Thanks to WORCESTER - Huntington Hall: ""Elise Yuill, who met Howard Jones through the Buddhist community of Somerset, left us enchanted with her crystal clear voice, and mind expanding song writing. It was a captivating yet understated performance, with only an acoustic guitar and sublime voice; she delivers songs that will stay with you for a long time." Review by Jessica Charles at SlapMag (
Thanks to EXETER - Phoenix: "Howard was supported by the beautiful solo folk singer Elise Yuill and it's not often the auditorium is full for the support act, but Elise pulled in a big crowd for this all seated event. Elise talked about growing up in Somerset and her love of Dartmoor, the River Dart and the need to protect the natural beauty of the area.....exquisite..."
